   These are the people who make up the current team of Scarborough Coastguard along with a brief description about them and their background.

         Text Box: Joined the team in July 2006. Used to be in the Army. Phil is also a full time Couch Warmer.                                                               

 

         Text Box:   Joined the team in October 2006. Self employed working as a soap and sponge technician (Car Valetor).                                                                     

 

         Text Box:   Joined the team in August 2004. Runs his own water sports business at Wykeham lakes just outside Scarborough.                                                                    

       

                                                                         

 

Text Box:   Joined the team in June 2007. A student studying Marine Biology. Previously on the crew of Hornsea Inshore Rescue Boat.  

Text Box:   Joined the team in October 2006. Also self employed as a Car Valetor. Known to the team as Rodney due to his liking for sitting at a local seafront cafe drinking coffee while most people are working.   Text Box: Joined the team in July 2007 after spending 5 years on Scarborough Lifeboat. Self employed buying and renovating houses / flats. Text Box:   Text Box:   Joined the team in July 2003 becoming Deputy Station Officer in May 2006. Previously Senior Helmsman on Scarborough Lifeboat serving for 11 1/2 years. Works for CE Electric as an Overhead Power Linesman.   Text Box: Joined the team in June 1995 as an Auxiliary working his way up to Deputy Station Officer then Station Officer in May 2006. Steve is a Professional Couch Warmer (man of leisure).   Text Box:   Joined the coastguard in 1989 as an Auxiliary working his way up to Station Officer while working in the Ops room as a CWA then becoming Sector Manager in April 2006. Involved in the past in sea animal rescue & earthquake rescue in the third world with the International Rescue Corps.           Text Box:   Rejoined the team in January 2007after a couple of years out. Works at a local caravan park as a general handyman (Allegedly).                                                                     

     

        Text Box:   Joined the team in July 2006.
